Halftone Zine Fest is a celebration of DIY publishing that takes place in Lexington, KY.

The first event of this kind was called the Ephemera Festival and took place in 2013! The fest was re-named the KFZ: Kentucky Fried Zine fest in late 2014, and was put on hiatus in 2020. Its re-emergence from hiatus came under the new name: halftone zine fest, honoring the DIY xerox aesthetic.
